Springhill Physical Therapy

A physical therapist (PT) is a licensed health care provider who evaluates the performance of the human body. PTs utilize exercise, modalities and manual techniques to restore function and alleviate pain to joints and muscles throughout the body.

Why do I need Physical Therapy?

Therapy will identify factors contributing to an individual’s orthopedic or neurological problem. Factors may include muscular imbalances, poor posture or acute injuries to the body.

Therapists can treat an impaired joint or muscle to restore range of motion and strength after surgery or illness allowing individuals to return to functional activities more quickly. They can also recommend a personalized exercise program to maintain or continue physical progress after formal therapy has ended.
