Pressure ulcers caused by sitting or lying in the same position for a long time.
Soft tissue ulcers resulting from radiation treatment
When you visit Springhill Medical Center Wound Clinic, you are treated as an individual. Our team of professionals work closely together to create an environment that promotes the healing of chronic wounds.
Throughout the healing process, our team provides progress reports to your primary physician. We also work with nursing homes, home health agencies, and outpatient rehabilitation centers to ensure continuous care and healing of wounds.
Our goal is to resolve wounds and help the patient resume their normal daily activities. We achieve this goal, through dedicated individuals who care about our patients and their healing.
Our practitioner and licensed nurses have received specialized training in wound care. Upon admission to the Wound Care Clinic, each patient will be seen and evaluated through a physical assessment, comprehensive wound assessment, medical history and patient interview.
