Springhill, Louisiana, December 27, 2007: Springhill Medical Center announced Springhill Medical Center Foundations purchase and donation of a $9,000 i-STAT hand-held analyzer to help improve patient outcomes by providing lab-quality test results within minutes. Designed to expedite patient diagnosis and treatment, i-STAT analyzer performs a comprehensive panel of critical tests at the patient’s bedside using two or three drops of blood.
