History

SMC is celebrating over 30 years as a hospital in north Louisiana and is proud to announce the birth of Springhill Medical Center Health Care Foundation. The foundation is an independent, non-profit, charitable foundation governed by a regional volunteer Board of Trustees.

The foundation will raise and grant funds to perpetuate medical excellence; to strengthen programs for education and service and to acquire technology to benefit the people of north Webster parish. Through private philanthropy, the Foundation will serve families in Springhill, Cullen, Sarepta, Cotton Valley, Shongaloo, Plain Dealing and south western Arkansas.

The mission of the foundation will be accomplished by an organized program of fund development and opportunities for volunteer involvement. Private philanthropy is “fulfilling the vision” of having the very best health care resources for our children, ourselves, and our community.

Donations

Individual donations comprise the largest source of funding. You can donate through one of our special events, by mailing a check to our office (Springhill Medical Center Health Care Foundation, P.O. Box 920, Springhill, La. 71075), or online using the link below.
