Springhill Medical Center’s lab is staffed by five full-time medical technologists, four full-time phlebotomists.  Each day they perform testing on patients at the hospital and receive specimens from one of SMC’s three clinics and area nursing homes to process.  

With state-of-the-art equipment,  the highly trained staff is able to complete most routine tests within 15 minutes, having the results back to the doctor within 20 minutes.  

Why travel for your lab testing? In addition to servicing the physicians at Springhill Medical Center, the staff can handle testing from other physicians as long as that physician writes an order for the test.
